At Alger Alpacas, our policy is to not breed our females until they are approaching 2 years of age. We want our girls to finish growing themselves before their bodies have to produce a baby - with this practice - we have a 100% conception rate and 0% cria rejection. Our girls have excellent birthing histories with strong crias and are good reliable mothers with plenty of milk. Every one of these females has something to offer to any breeding program.
